           NEW BEGINNINGS

Everyday families adopt homeless pets and give them a second chance for a happy life.

The Humane Society of Highlands County currently adopts out 70-100 animals per month - and the numbers are growing.  Here are just a few of the recent adoptions that put a smile on our faces and make our job so rewarding.  Many of these animals would have been put to death if it weren't for the efforts of the Humane Society.
