February 6. 2008 - "Seuss" now "Brady" (Lab)
Hi, here is picture I promised of Brady (formerly named Seuss) he is the best dog, no accidents in the house and does not chase cats. He is already neutered and I will sent along the paper work. Don't bother about the $35 reimbursement. My vet does not take it but charged us less. Brady follows us around and Sunday went for first swimming lesson in the pool, and I have scratches and black and blues to show for it. He learned fast and can not understand why he has to wait for ten days before stitches come out and he can swim again.

It is amazing how Dixie fits in with us.
She will be visiting here all summer every summer. And my Mom knows I am in love with her already.
Dixie is just so sweet and lovable. But I know she will love my Mom too. We are also giving my Mom a fence for her birthday along with Miss Dixie.

Dixie napping with her cousin Dudley. Dudley was rescued him from under a trailer where he was tied and had heartworms.
Dixie, Dudley, and Sissy (who is deaf) joined in. Sissy was rescued by the Walkers 3 years ago.

March 17, 2008 - Chopper (formerly Ranger)
Hi Friends. Chopper is doing fine. He is such a nice, well mannered dog, but playful like a puppy. He's getting spoiled with piles of toys, nice collar/leash, blankets, a huge puff pillow dog bed (which sits on the floor next to mine) food, snacks, etc. We have playful wrestling/shoving matches where he uses his jaw lightly and he is getting to know me well now and when we walk, every ten steps or so he will turn his head around and look at me while trotting, hes is so cute. He even "herded" me to bed one nite when my friend and he were ready for bed. he came out to the living room, tapped me with his nose and ran back to bed. I read that this is a trait of some Curs.

I saw Gator Cat this morning and he gets cuter each day. You talk about a blessing from God, it’s “His Orangeness” !
What a great phone call it was when you told us about “Orangie”. He has filled a humungous hole in my mother’s heart. He loves my mother so much and mom loves him back. What a match.

Subject: Rocky (lab mix)
(adopted after 2 yrs at the shelter!!)
Rocky is doing well, he and the other dogs get along great. We have a couple acres and he loves to run laps, and boy is he fast!! He is the fastest dog we have!! He is so cute, and soooooo sweet!! People really missed out on this dog....He's so playful that he even has the old dogs playing and romping around like puppies again! He reminds me of a cartoon dog out of "All Dogs Go to Heaven", I can just picture him saying" Awe come on guys! Lets go get ourselves and adventure!"
Its really amazing how the people at the Humane Society helped hang onto him, they really did an awesome thing! And its wonderful to know that I didnt just adopt Rocky, but I adopted you guys too! He really is a great dog, and that is a direct reflection on the people who raised him.....So thank YOU!
I will get pics to you ASAP!
